"the soul has many secrets. they are only revealed to those who want them, and are never completely forced upon us." -Richard rohr

To summarize as briefly as possible, for us, the role of the therapist is to assist clients in hearing and trusting their own true voice – that which is always gentle, compassionate, and kind. If you cannot hear that gentle, compassionate, and kind voice, our role is to stand in with ours until you can trust your own. The goal is that you will ultimately no longer need us because you will have learned to trust yourself.

While psychological theory and study have been and are important, we believe our life experiences have called us to this role; it is often those experiences that direct us in how we sit with each client, as others have done the same for us.
